FAQ
-
The most important factor in choosing the engine oil is viscosity!
The number on the engine oil case surface shows the viscosity of the engine oil.
The viscosity of the engine oil must be selected according to the driving habit of the driver, driving environment and season to improve the fuel efficiency and to increase the engine life of the vehicle.
Generally, 5W-30 and 5W-20 are mostly used, but it is recommended to use 0W-40 with low viscosity in the winter season.
-
The specification and amount of engine oil differs depending on the vehicle engine.
It is recommended to read and check the vehicle operator's manual on the required liter or bottle of engine oil for your vehicle.
If you are an inexperienced driver, you must be aware of the accurate basic information on the car to become a smart driver who can manage the vehicle engine appropriately.
-
Normally, engine oil is recommended to be replaced every 5,000 ~ 10,000 km.
To check the amount of engine oil left, the 'engine oil gauge' is pulled out and wiped with a dry cloth to be put in again. When the engine oil gauge is pulled out, you can check the oil left on the gauge.
It is normal when the level is between F (Full) and L (Low).
The level below L indicates that the engine oil has evaporated too much, and must be supplemented.
If the color or the viscosity of the engine oil is black and sticky due to serious oxidation compared to the initial clear brown color, the engine oil must be replaced.
